Hello All! Hope you are enjoy this beautiful sunny Sunday!
This is a card I made for a lady who I knew was in need for some cheering up. I used the Never Ending Joy stamping set from Stampin' Up! and used their markers (So Saffron, Lovely Lilac and Old Olive) to colour the stamp. This is a very neat technique as you can pick and choose the colours you want to colour your image! With this set, you first stamp the leaves, then the flowers and the bowl. It is easy and fast to do. Now, if you are a perfectionist, you can always use SU!'s Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the flowers and bowl exactly where you want. I did it without it and I am happy with the result! Remember: When colouring your stamp with markers, always use the side of the markers NOT the tip or you will ruin your markers! Stampin'Up! markers are very versatile and come in 48 colours. So, you can pick and choose the colours so that your image will look exactly the way you want! I also used Stampin' Up!'s small tag and tag punches, Print Designer Series Paper, Whisper White CS, a brad, and the Tagger's Dozen stamp set. I used SU!'s glitter on the flowers and bowl to add a little bit of sparkle to it. Hope you like it! :o)
