 Hello Ladies!

Life has been busy, but all is good!  Here is a card that I made a couple of weeks ago.  I CASED it from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Leeann Greff.  I loved her ideas and it is easy and fun to make!

I used Rich Razzleberry card stock with our Razledazzle Lemonade Designer Series paper (the origami folder).

The flower is on a dimensional and has a brad and lots of glitter on it.  The saying comes from Stampin' Up! Heard from the Heart set.

Debossing

Hello again!

This was a quick card that I made with my nephew.  He loved it!

I used Stampin' Up! embossing flower and brayed it on the 'debossed' side with Not Quite Navy.  The flowers are mounted on Bashful Blue and Night of Navy.

Life has been busy lately that's why I haven't been posted lately.  I expect that it may be like that for the next week or so :(    But I promise that I will do my best to post as much as I can.

My new catalogue order is coming and with it several wonderful new products and the in colours are just yummy!

Echoes of Kindness

Remember a few days ago when I told you about a challenge that Donna Henley had given our team?  The black and white challenge?  Well, this one was created by my fellow demonstrator Julie Leblanc.  Julie has been stamping up a storm lately and her creations are gorgeous.

Julie made this card for the challenge and to swap.  As I was studying for my exam, I did not have time to make any cards to swap.  Julie was kind to give me and other demos who weren't swapping either, one of her beautiful creations.   "Echoes of Kindness" - no wonder she used this stamp set for this card! ;-)  Isn't it gorgeous?

Card stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, and Basic Gray.  Eyelet border punch, taffeta ribbon (white), and flower and pearl from the Pretties kit.

Blooming with Love and Blooms and Bulbs (both retiring)

What a lovely card! I got this in one of the swaps I participated, but the creator did not sign her work of art... tsc, tsc. tsc...

She used Stampin' Up! Blooming with Love stamp set and the wheel Blooms and Bulbs.  It is such a springy card.  I love the colours and how different this card looks!

Card stock: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White.  The images were coloured with blender pens and classic ink.

Beautiful job!  :-)

Morning Glory (Retiring)

This card I cased from Mena Green.  She made the card for a swap that both of us were participating last Convention.  I loved her work as I love this stamp set.  I decided to CASE her card because Stampin' Up! is retiring the Morning Glory stamp set :-(   If you do not have it, but love it as I do, you have to rush to order it before the end of June or it will be gone forever.

The technique in the card is called "cracked glass".  You stamp and colour your image and then you cover the surface with Versamark, clear embossing powder several times to obtain a thick layer (it need to cool between coats).  Once you are satisfied with the thickness, you begin to 'break' the layers until you achieve the desired look.  Just beautiful!

Another Walk in the Park

YAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I talk about this beautiful card, I want to share my good news with you!  Some of you knew that I was studying for my last exam to become a "registered psychologist".  Well, yesterday was it and I PASSED!!!!!  I am so happy and relieved!!!! It is so nice to know that this part of the journey is over!  I am so happy!  I take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supported and encouraged me through this journey.  BIG THANK YOU!!!!

Now, back to business! ;o)

I love the combination of colours in this card: Baja Breeze and Basic Gray!  The creator of this card is Laura Albertson.  She made this card to swap in the Stampin' Up! London Regionals.

Laura used Big Shot dies Stampin' Up! Little Leaves and Simple Flower; stamp set Oval All (mini);card stock in Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White; Designer Series Paper Walk in the Park (also in the mini); punches: Large Oval, Curly Label, and Eyelet Border.  The final touch: a half pearl from the Pretties Kit.

Fifth Avenue Floral

Good June Everyone!!!!

Today is a very especial day at Stampin' Up!  Several events are taking place!!! 

For example, today we will have a list of the products that will retire :-(   June 30th is the last chance for you to get discontinuing stamping sets, accessories, and home decor items.  After June 30th they will all be gone forever!  I will be posting them later this morning or this evening, so keep tuned!  There is more!  You will be get discontinued products with up to 50% discount!!!!!

AND, us demonstrators will get a sneak pick of the new catalogue too!  Oh my, oh my!  Be still my heart! ;-)

The card on the side is another card that was displayed in the Stamp-4-Fun event.  And, of course, I do not know which of the talented ladies created it.  Isn't it gorgeous?!?!  I love going to these events because I get so many wonderful ideas from my fellow demonstrators.  It is such a great family to be part of!

Fifth Avenue Floral

This is another card that was displayed in the Stamp-4-Fun event.

This card was created using Stampin' Up! Fifth Avenue Floral set for the rose and the background.  The technique to colour the rose is one that is quite popular now.  You stamp with versamark on Shimmery white paper (won't work on normal card stock).  You heat emboss it and then, you mist the paper until you see some puddles.  With your aqua painter, you will add ink to the puddles.  I know these instructions are not clear.  I will try to post a tutorial OR get you the link to those ladies who already have one.

Fifth Avenue Floral

 Last Saturday, Donna Henley organized a Stamp-4-Fun for our team members and other demonstrators in the area.  When we get together, we like to bring what we have been working on to show off (i.e., share ;-) ) with everybody else.

This card was on the display and I took a picture so I can CASE it!  I do not know who created it, but if you know, please let me know and I will give her credit.

I love the Fifth Avenue Floral - as you might have had a hint or two by now ;-)  She stamped one flower on the card base and stamped, cut it out and add the flower on dimensional to the card.  I liked the effect.  She light coloured it with aqua painter and reinkers.
