Autumn Days

Good Friday Ladies!!!

This card is another card from my Girls Night Out Class.  I have seen similar cards to this one at Splitcoast, and decided to try my hand on it.  I know it is similar to other cards that I saw, but when I made it, I did not have one in front of me to copy it.  Hopefully, it is at least a bit different from the others out there! ;o)

I sponged my Very Vanilla card stock with Summer Sun, More Mustard and very lightly with Bermuda Bay (while masking the sun).  Then, I stamped the pheasant with Soft Suede, and added some vegetation with Crushed Curry and Soft Suede.  I mounted the Very Vanilla on Soft Suede, then on DSP from Autumn Traditions and again on Soft Suede.  The girls in the class liked.  What do you think?

Medallion

Hello Again!!!!

This card was given to me in a swap.  The creator is Donna Henley.  Donna used the new Stampin' Up! Medallion set.  First, she stamped it on the Dusty Durango card stock (one of the New In-Colors) and then on Kraft card stock.  She punched out the center and mounted it on the center of the medallion and added a rhinestone brad.  Note that Donna also used the Sanded background stamp to give texture and dimension to the card.  The saying comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and it is stamped and then punched out with the Modern Label punch. Then, the saying is mounted on a piece of paper punched with the Designer Label punch.   I loved the card Donna!  Thanks!

Wandering Words

Hello and welcome back to my blog!  I hope you had a joyful and relaxing summer with your loved ones!

It seems that summer is already over and I am starting this week with a fall-thanksgiving card.  I made this card for my Girls Night Out class and thought it would be an appropriated card to start posting on the blog again.  As some of you know, my brother and his family (wife and son), came from Brazil to spend their vacation with us.  In total it was approximately one month.  I am thankful for the time I was able to spend with them.  I had a terrific time, specially with Matheus, my nephew.  He is 11 years old and has the sense of humour of his father!  I had so much fun!  I am planning to scrap book our time together, so keep tuned!

This card was stamped with the new stamp set form Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini, Wandering Words.  It is such a ice set!  Here, I coloured the image using Stampin' Up! marker in Elegant Eggplant, More Mustard, Ruby Red, and Garden Green.  All from the Earth Elements family.  I paper pierced the corners and mounted the image on Ruby Red card stock, then on Elegant Eggplant.  The designer paper is from the Designer Series Paper Autumn Tradition.  This package is so gorgeous!!!  You should have a look at it!

Fall Flair!

The design of this card is Bonnie Dale's.  We made this card on our Team Pajama Party last August.  The colours are gorgeous and the glitter touch made this card even more beautiful.  The only thing that I changed on the card was the saying and I used Pumpkin Pie card stock instead of More Mustard.

Stampin' Up! sets: Fall Flair and Celebrate Everything. Card stock and Classic Ink pads: Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie, and Classic Ink pad in Summer Yellow.

Yesterday I was playing with this set to make the Thanksgiving card.  So, I decided to make another one using this cute scarecrow.  The stamp set is Stampin' Up! Happy Blessings and I used the In-Colors again:  Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, and Pacific Point.  I coloured the scarecrow with Stampin' Up! blender pens - I love the control that they give me!

The background was stamped with the pumpkin stamp that comes with the set and I used the 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" square punches to add the saying.

This is a card that I made to all of you who visit my blog!  I used Stampin' Up! Happy Blessings stamp set (Holiday Mini Catalogue - page 5).  I love this set!  The card stock and ink are from Stampin' Up! New In-Colors collection:  Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, and Riding Hood Red.  Accessories: Stampin' Up! punches: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle.  I stamped the Tangerine Tango card background with a leaf from the hostess set Bitty Basics.
