Delightful Decorations - What's new? ;-)

I had to do another one, right!?!  I wanted to try this card with Tempting Turquoise, but to get the effect I wanted, I had to add layers of Sahara Sand.

So... here are the layers: Tempting Turquoise for the card base, Sahara Sand, Taken with Teal with a piece of DSP (Holiday Lounge), Sahara Sand, and finally, Tempting Turquoise.  The ornaments are stamped on Whisper White card stock with Sahara Sand and Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink.  Accessories: Ornament punch, silver brad and elastic cord.

Do you realize that we are in December???  Well,  Happy December to you!!!

Delightful Decorations - yet another one!

Ah the joy of making cards...  This one I made for one of my husband's aunts.  I like the 'happy' feeling of it.  Again, very easy to make: stamp, punch, adhere, done!

All Stampin' Up! materials:  card stock: Ruby Red and Whisper White; DSP: Holiday Lounge; Stamp sets: Delightful Decorations and Serene Snowflakes; silver brads and elastic cord.

Have you noticed that I like this set??? ;-)

I really do!  thre is so much you can do with it!

Here I used Stampin' Up! Garden Green card stock and Classic Ink, plus Designer Series paper Merry Moments.  It is missing a brad!!!!  How didn't I think of it before!?!?!?! Next one will have it! ;-)

Jolliest Time of the Year II

This is another version of a card I posted last week.  This time I decided to use one colour and brads for the focal point.

Delightful Decorations III

I have been playing with the Delightful Decorations set for a while and I really like it!  Here is another one with this set.

I used Stampin' Up! card stock Taken with Teal, Sahara sand and Whisper White; Designer Series Paper Holiday Lounge; silver elastic cord, silver brad, and Classic Inks in Taken with Teal, Ruby Red, and Sahara sand.

Bearing Gifts

Good Monday! Everyone! 

I like the way this one turn out!  I was thinking of my young nephews and nieces when I created it.  It is a happy card that captures the spirit of Christmas through children's eyes.

All Stampin' Up! Materials:  Bearing Gifts, Serene Snowflakes, and Heard from the Heart stamp sets; card stock: Bashful Blue, Brilliant  Blue, and Whisper White; Bashful Blue, Brilliant Blue, Garden Green, Real Red, Yoyo Yellow, and Soft Suede Classic inks; blender pens.

Spot Light on Christmas

Another easy and happy card!

I used Stampin' Up! Spot on Christmas stamp set for the background (the swirls and the poinsettia), and stamped two more of the poinsettia and punched them with the 5-petal flower punch.  Added a a golden brad to the center of each of them, adhered them with dimensionals on top of the ones stamped in the background and voila!

The sentiment comes from Tiny Wishes set.  All in Ruby Red.

Delightful Decorations - II

Good Morning!!!!

Here is another card using the Delightful Decoration set and the ornament punch.  I love these colours together (Taken with Teal and Sahara Sand) and the Designer Series Paper Holiday Lounge is just so beautiful!!!

Just add a brad and some elastic cord and you are all done!

Serene Snowflakes

Happy Day!!!

I always liked snow flake stamps, but this one is by far my favourite one!  I have used it in many cards that I plan to share with you.

As you can see (or not see!), the bigger picture does not show much of the details of the card.  I hope you car see better in the close up that I have included.  This card I made as a request from a new friend I made at the classes I am teaching at the KP libraries: Judy.  Judy wanted to make a card using heating embossing, and here it is!  Again a simple card using two Stampin' Up! sets: Serene Snowflakes and Heard from the Heart; card stock: Bashful Blue and Night of Navy; embossing powder white; silver brad.
