 Hello Ladies!

Life has been busy, but all is good!  Here is a card that I made a couple of weeks ago.  I CASED it from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Leeann Greff.  I loved her ideas and it is easy and fun to make!

I used Rich Razzleberry card stock with our Razledazzle Lemonade Designer Series paper (the origami folder).

The flower is on a dimensional and has a brad and lots of glitter on it.  The saying comes from Stampin' Up! Heard from the Heart set.

Birthday Bliss

Happy Friday Everyone!!!  Phew!  This week was too long!!!! Too much to do and not much time for stamping! ;-)

This card was made by Samantha Forest, one of my fellow demonstrators.  Sam used two of the new In-Colors: Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay with our classic Chocolate Chip to make this beautiful card!

It is hard to see in the photo, but Sam used the Big Shot Texturz Plate background 1 to add texture and dimension to her card.  Sam colored the image with blender pens (can't live without them!).  Accessories: Flower Fusion, brad, and grosgrain ribbon in Chocolate Chip.  Punch: 1 1/4 inch square punch.

Beary Best Friends

Good Monday Everyone!!!

I will start the week with one of my favourites cards.  I made this card for my last GNO class.  This stamp set is just so lovely!!!  I can't hardly wait to get the rest of the Build-A-Bear collection!!!!  Aren't they adorable???  If you haven't heard yet, Stampin' Up! and Build-A-Bear Workshop are partners now.  Stampin' Up! has several stamps and Big Shot Dies for us to make 1001 different cards using the concept of Build-A-Bear!!!!  at least these are not expensive as the real stuffed toys!  I just love these bears!

I used the Beary Best Friends set and Bermuda Bay card stock and ribbon to make this 'girlie' birthday card.  I coloured it using blender pens and Classic Ink pads in Bashful Blue, Bermuda Bay, and Close to Cocoa.  Card stock: Bermuda Bay, Bashful Blue, and Whisper White; scallop edge punch and Beary Nice Wishes stamp set for the say.

Greetings, Earthing

Good Morning!  Good Monday!!!

Here is another card from a swap.  This is a creation of Ruth Hill.  Isn't it cute???

Ruth used Stampin' Up! new Greetings, Earthling set and used SU! markers in the following colours: Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry.  All mounted on Crushed Curry card stock.  Loved it Ruth!  Thanks!

My Niece's B-Day card

Hello!

As I mentioned previously, I made  a card for my niece Natalia inspired on a card by Tanya Morose.  Here it is!  According to my niece, she "amou" the card ;-)  (i.e., loved").

The DSP is Stampin' Up!, but retired.  I thought it was just perfect for her 12th b-day.

Walk in the Park DSP

This card was created by Tanya Morose another fellow demonstrator.  Tanya used the Big Shot Scallop Circle to make this cute dress.  I used it as inspiration to make my niece card, which I haven't taken a photo yet.

Tanya used Stampin' Up! Walk in the Paper DSP (mini), Whisper White card stock, stripped grosgrain ribbon in Baja Breeze, and the scallop edge punch.  She also sponged the edge with Baja Breeze Classic Ink.

Tea Party

Another swap card.  This one was created by Donna Henley.  As you may have noticed we are all using our Designer Series Paper so that we can take advantage of Stampin' Up! promotion fo buy 3 and get 1 FREE.

There are many things that I like about Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper; one of them is that they coordinate beautifully.  Here Donna shows us how easy it is to create interest in a card by just flipping the DSP!  

Donna used Stampin' Up! Eastern Blooms and Hugs and Wishes stamp sets and the Designer Series Paper Tea Party.

Thanks Donna for organizing the Stamp-4-Fun and for swapping!  I loved the card :o)

Soft Summer

I believe that this mini is my favourite mini in a long time.  I just love all the sets!!!  The Soft Summer set is one of my favourites!  It is se beautiful and so versatile!

This card I created by using just the "filling" (instead of the outline) of the stamp.  If I confused you, let me explain.  Stampin' Up! has several sets that are "2-step-stampin".  This means that you stamp one part then the other on top.  For example, if I wanted, I could have stamped on top of this the outline of the flowers and leaves and have a complete different look.  I was happy with this one, so I did not add the outline.  Clear as mud?  If you want more explanation, call/email me and I will try to be clearer, ok?

Back to the card:  card stock: Barely Banana, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White; Designer Series Paper in Pumpkin Pie punched with the Eyelet Border punch.  The stamp was coloured with Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie markers and then stamped on the card stock.  The Butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies die (Big Shot) and has lots of glitter and a rhinestone from the Circle of Fire brads.

Walk in the Park

Another card with butterflies and the Designer paper Walk in the park.

This time, I used both side of the paper to create the background of the card.  That's one of the things I love about Stampin' Up! double sided designer paper!  You can just flip it and you have another beautiful design that coordinates beautifully with the other!

I mounted them on Baja Breeze card stock and the base is Cameo Coral.  I am starting to really like this colour!  The butterflies are from the same Big Shot Die (Beautiful Butterflies).   I added a button from the Designer Buttons: Button Bouquet and plenty of glitter on them.  The ribbon is the 1/2" stripped grosgrain in Baja Breeze.
