This was another card that I created for my last GNO class - again, with the "masculine" look in mind.
I was fearing that Stampin' Up! would retire this set, and I am happy that they did not! i just love this one and wouldn't know what to do without it! ;-)
I used Lovely as a Tree set to teach a technique that I was suggested by "my girls" (i.e., the ladies who come to my classes).
We used three shades of green markers:Centainly Celery, Garden Green, and Always Artichoke. We used them to colour direct onto the stamp. Starting with the lightest colour and progressing to the darkest, we randomly coloured the tree. Then, we used the Close to Cocoa marker for the trunk and ground. After giving it "the breath of life" (i.e., a huff to re-moisturize the ink), we stamped the tree.
Card stock: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, and Whisper White. Designer Series Paper" Manchester (retiring).
Hope you enjoy! ;-)
